We welcome tour groups to our farm. In September and October, tours are
given to school children and other groups by appointment. The children visit
our orchard and pick an apple to eat and one for teacher to use in a follow-up
activity. They learn how apples grow and about their uses. A favorite stop
is our "big refrigerator" - the cold storage. They also see our
grading room and market. Each child takes home a small pumpkin. Tours usually
last approximately 45 minutes.
Walking tours of the farm can be arranged for groups during the summer
months.
A small picnic area is available for visiting groups to use.
A limited number of in-school visits to an individual classroom can also
be arranged.
To arrange a tour, contact Marilyn at 330-264-8735 or by
email.
